Chang Tzu-Lung's modeling is deeply influenced by Western modernist sculptures in the early 20th century, focusing on aesthetic factors such as volume, space, and form. However, the charm of his works reveals the simplicity and tranquility unique to Eastern aesthetics. He pays attention to the idealized image of nature. His works are characterized by symbolic extreme abstraction and subtle shapes. As for materials, he prefers to use stone, wood, and copper to express the life and pure form of the material. Through skillful and concise cutting and fine grinding, he combines the idea of technique and the difference of texture, showing the graceful curves of his works, and at the same time releasing the spiritual ideas that the artist wants to convey.
