Matthew F. Fisher has had a deep emotional connection to water since childhood, spending many moments by the seaside with his grandfather in Westhampton. His relocation to West Michigan, living near bodies of water, profoundly influenced his artistic foundation. Fisher's artworks often feature elements such as horizons, waves, rocks, and trees, with personal imaginings interwoven into these elements, portraying idealized natural landscapes. After vividly depicting the world from his memories, Fisher expresses keen observations and reflections on self, life, and the world. Through artistic creation, he communicates inner emotions and thoughts, aiming to share the beauty of memories with the audience.
